Testimonials

As we identified treatment options for our son, we realized that the guidance and care of a trained, authentic recovery coach was essential to our parental recovery. Melody was the voice we needed to guide us through our behavior shifts, change our internal conversations and release our fear and even guilt. Her generous spirit and expertise was invaluable as we learned and grew closer as a family. We are grateful to have had her powerful presence during a challenging season in life.

Melody has been a model of living sobriety for over three decades.  Watching her from afar proved to be inspirational for me.  I heard and saw that a life in recovery can lead one to feel happy, joyous, and free!  When I finally realized that my own journey was leading me down a dark path, I turned to Melody for help, compassion, and guidance...

...Her methods are straightforward but thought provoking. I have learned more about myself than I ever thought was possible. My relationship with myself is constantly evolving, but with the guidance and support from Melody, I know I can solve any dilemma that may come my way...

Melody Rodgers has a unique ability to listen, an essential element in her coaching practice. Hearing her clients, she is equipped with the analytical skills to get directly to the issue, define it and the obstacles blocking one's realization of their goal. Melody has laser like focus and embodies the idea that obstacles are seen only when one removes their eyes from their goal.

Melody’s life experience, intuition, firmness and sincerity help me from different angles of life. Melody helps me to believe in myself and self worth when the cloud of uncertainty shows itself. Whether it be via a scheduled call or spontaneous check in call, which is uncannily well timed, to give a shot of confidence or nudge back on the right track, just when needed.

"...Her approach can be best described as “loving concern”, an approach not rooted in any one approach to rehab or substance cessation, but one that focuses on the individual in treatment and the particular elements of their situation..."

Working with Melody was life changing for me. I was coming from a dark and lonely place in my life with little hope for happiness or growth....

I have been working with Melody as my life coach for nearly a year now. I originally came to her damaged and searching for guidance. I grew up as an ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics) and was seeking help with strategies on how to deal with alcoholic family members. Melody also helped me develop new habits that allowed me to accept my childhood trauma centering around alcohol. Together we created a plan for what best fit my needs. We translated the language of AA into words that fit my own life. Melody also helped me through my toxic relationship with my ex-boyfriend. I was using ineffective coping strategies. I felt unsafe and was struggling with anxiety. Together, she helped me find the courage to finally stand up and protect myself. I needed to eliminate my codependent behaviors. We reached that goal in a short time, the relief I felt after was unimaginable. Today, a year later, I can confidently say I am proud of the woman I have become, and much is due to the work I have done and will continue to do with Melody.

I began working with Melody around December of 2022. In the time we have spent together I have grown tremendously as a person. She has guided me in a way that not only meetings and step work would have. She has helped me to better understand myself and my recovery journey. I am still working with her almost a year later and plan to continue working with her as long as I can.
